November already. More working on the house this week, and getting things ready for holiday gatherings and guests. I hope to have a webpage built for the
Cristmas/ holiday project this week, also. If I don't, I'll at least get the stuff I have so far (from Shakey) online so people can listen to it. I
feel very selfish in being the only one who has heard them so far (among those here in the TTT who aren't Shakey).

I've got the heat on for the first time this fall. It's nice and cozy inside, which is nice. I need to start putting some plastic protective covers

I got a new sewing machine a couple of weeks ago. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it's a real workhorse. Most sewing machines are
flimsy and not very powerful. This one's like the Volvo of sewing machines. I was hemming some of Arch's pants yesterday and that machine just plowed
right through the rolled seams like they were hardly there. That's a great machine. I'm looking forward to hemming some blue jeans with that puppy.

We've been having a lot of rain the past few days, and the garden's loving it. I had a couple of soaker hoses in the garden earlier in the summer, and
they both developed holes in them that caused me to waste a lot of water before I found them (I was afraid the water bill might be a b*tch, but it wasn't
as bad as I feared). I stopped using them after that, but the garden didn't do anywhere near as well afterwards, so I've gotten some new soaker hoses
