It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it's a real workhorse. Most sewing machines are flimsy and not very powerful. This one's like the Volvo of sewing machines. I was hemming some of Arch's pants yesterday and that machine just plowed right through the rolled seams like they were hardly there. That's a great machine. I'm finding that in this climate, a garden is a very dynamic thing. One thing is planted, it provides food for a while, then phases itself out and something else is planted in its place. It's a constantly changing thing.
