We've been very busy car shopping and tending to car related stuff. We weren't able to get the car registration renewed because it needs expensive repairs, which will cost almost as much as the car is worth these days. Car shopping is tiring and not a lot of fun, in my opinion. However, once it's finished, it's nice to have a good car to show for it. We're not ready to buy yet and the vultures car salesmen have been calling us at home to pester us. Ah well...
We've also been getting garden beds ready for planting. We have quite a lot of this weed growing in our yard, and today, I finally was able to find out what it is. I found out that it's quite edible, and an almost identical plant is considered a delicacy and sells for almost $5.00 a root in some parts of the country. We tasted some of it, and it's quite nice. I've been busy trying to get it back the way its supposed to be with all of the programs and peripherals installed. I'm partway there, but there's still a lot to do. One of the cool things that came about as a result of this is that I found some really cool Firefox add-ons, one of which is this...

I'm having a lot of fun with it. I can hover my mouse over a link, and then hover it over an icon that appears, and I can see the contents of the link without ever having to click on it. I love that feature.
